Your experienced vet practice in Penkridge and Rugeley

Based in Staffordshire, our mixed practice has been proudly providing high quality pet, farm and equine care since 1942.

Our founder, the late, great Eddie Straiton, was a pioneering veterinary writer and broadcaster, and worked as a literary advisor for the author James Herriot, whose novels were brought to life in the much-loved All Creatures Great and Small series.

We continue to honour Eddie’s legacy through dedicating ourselves to delivering the highest levels of veterinary care and professionalism.

Our experienced team work together to provide a seamless, complete service across all disciplines for our loyal clients, and hold various qualifications and certificates.

The patient consultation, inpatient, diagnostic and 24-hour emergency services at our small animal hospital in Penkridge achieved “outstanding” status in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme awards, something which we’re extremely proud of!
