- Veterinary care provided to registered clients of E.C Straiton & Partners LLP.
- Normal opening hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am-7.00pm and Saturday 8.30am-2.00pm
- Initial consultation charged at £19.50.
- Repeat consultation charged at £13.24.
- Out of normal business hours emergencies will be seen at our Penkridge Hospital.
- Out of hour’s call out fee and consultation charged at £81.74-£125.48.
- No credit offered. Payment is strictly at the time of your consultation or upon collection of your animal or prescription.
- Payment is by cash, credit card (not AMEX) or cheque with guarantee card.
- Repeat prescription only medicines can only be dispensed to ‘animals under our care’.
- ‘Under our care’ is defined as animals seen within the last 4 months.
- We will try to accommodate your preference of Vet but we cannot always guarantee this.
- We strongly advise you to make sure your pet is insured with a reputable insurance company.
- Rude or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- The Partners of E.C. Straiton and Partners LLP reserve the right to de-register clients with immediate effect at their discretion.
EQUINE CLIENTS TERMS OF BUSINESS
- Vet call out charged at £35.29 for local visits and £48.77 for visits outside of this area.
- Out of hours visits will be charged on bank holidays, weekends and between 4.00pm and 8.00am weekdays. Charged at £67.55 for local visits and £80.66 for visits outside of this.
- Horse time charged at £10.03 per 5 minutes, minimum charge of 15 minutes.
- No credit offered. Payment is at the time of your visit by cheque with guarantee card, credit card or cash.
- All routine work will be carried out on the morning or early afternoon of your appointment date. Notice given if required.
- We will try to accommodate your preference of vet but we cannot guarantee specified vets for routine work such as vaccinations or in the case of emergencies.
- In the case of emergency we would request you appoint a friend or yard manager to act on your behalf.
- Please notify the office as soon as possible if your contact details change or where you keep your horse alters.
- Although we post vaccine reminders it is your responsibility to keep your horses vaccines up to date.
- We would strongly advise you to make sure your horse is insured with a reputable insurance company.
